1. What does the $591 cost cover?

The $591 covers your lodging for the duration of the trip, as well as:

• Daily housekeeping

• Chef services (labor only)

• Access to a shared car and driver for local transportation

What’s not included:

• Airfare (averaging $1200-1500 per person depending on departure location)

• Cost of ingredients for meals (except the Birthday Celebration Dinner)

• Excursions (spa treatments, snorkeling, temple entrance fees, etc.)

• Cost of guide/driver time, fuel

• Alcohol

• Shopping and personal expenses

 

We are currently seeking group airfare quotes for cities where 10 or more guests will be flying from. Also, once we know final numbers, we will secure a room block for a Bali airport hotel for those individuals flying in on December 8. 

2. Is airport transportation included?

Yes — if you arrive on December 8, your transfer to the villa on December 9 is included.
If you arrive on a different date, we can help coordinate transportation, but the cost will be your responsibility. 

3. Can I invite additional people or bring my children?

We love that so many of you want to share this experience with others — it means a lot to us.
However, due to limited villa space and a maximum capacity of 20 guests for the Birthday Celebration Dinner, we cannot accommodate additional invitees.
This trip is also an adult‑only experience, designed for relaxation, celebration, and connection.

4. How much spending money should I plan to bring?

This depends on your personal travel style, but here are general guidelines:

• Meals (ingredients): $10–$20 per day

• Excursions: $10–$50 depending on the activity

• Spa treatments: $15–$40

• Shopping: varies widely

Most guests feel comfortable budgeting $250–$500 for the full trip, not including major excursions or shopping.

5. Should I plan to tip the housekeeping staff?

Yes — while tipping is not mandatory in Bali, it is customary and appreciated.
We kindly suggest bringing a little extra cash to leave a small tip for the housekeeping team at the end of your stay. 

6. What should I pack?

9. What should I expect for the Birthday Celebration Dinner?

It’s a surprise — we’re keeping the details secret!
Just remember to pack a white outfit. 

10. Are massages and spa treatments included?

No — spa treatments are not included in the trip cost.
Typical Bali prices:

• Balinese massage: $10–$25

Massages and yoga sessions can be arranged at the villa.

North Bali is not as tourist heavy as the southern part of the island. It is peaceful, scenic, and culturally rich. It’s known for:
